The Snitch Zoanthid doesn’t blend in. Bold orange stripes radiating across every tentacle against deep blue centers — it’s one of those morphs where the color combination is so striking it almost looks unreal under reef lighting. A well-established Snitch colony spreading across your rockwork is genuinely one of the most eye-catching displays in the hobby.
These are tank-raised right here in Miami, fully acclimated to captive reef conditions and actively opening before they leave our system.
Care Guidelines
- Light: Low to moderate (50–150 PAR) — that orange really pops under moderate reef lighting
- Flow: Low to moderate — enough movement to keep detritus off without forcing polyps closed
- Temperament: Will spread given space — give them room and they’ll reward you with a stunning colony
- Feeding: Benefits from target feeding with reef roids or similar but not required
- Difficulty: Beginner friendly
