The Blowpop Zoanthid is a colony builder’s dream — bold neon green stripes radiating across each tentacle, contrasted against warm orange centers that glow under reef lighting. When a Blowpop colony gets established and starts spreading across your rockwork it creates a dense, textured carpet of color that’s hard to match with any other zoa morph.
These are tank-raised right here in Miami, fully acclimated to captive reef conditions and actively opening before they leave our system.
Care Guidelines
- Light: Low to moderate (50–150 PAR) — those neon greens express best under moderate light
- Flow: Low to moderate — enough movement to keep detritus off without forcing polyps closed
- Temperament: Will spread aggressively given space — a feature once they’re established
- Feeding: Benefits from target feeding with reef roids or similar but not required
- Difficulty: Beginner friendly
